LIGHTROOM LESSONS
Click here for Lightroom Help ============================================ Did something happen to you recently? All of a sudden, instead of having a shoe box with 50 to 100 photos in it, you found yourself with thousands of images on your computer and no way to deal with them. These photos are now coming from your smart phone, your point and shoot camera, your tablet computer, your friends and maybe even a high quality DSLR. So how do you keep track of them all, select the good ones and make them look better? If you use Adobe’s powerful Lightroom Classic product to manage and improve your photos but need some help to get started, give me a call. I'm an award winning photographer with great teaching skills who can show you how to use and get the biggest bang for your buck from LR. My inexpensive one-on-one lessons are tailored to your skill level, usage, and can be as shallow or in depth as you like. These are 1 on 1, private sessions given over the internet. I provide printed tutorials to augment what I show you in person. This is not watching an online video or a series of things you download and do on your own. This also not an webinar or a classroom full of people. This is hands on sessions with you and your instructor which is always me, live dealing with your needs, problems, issues and training. Personally, I use LR to manage all my images (over 90,000 of them). I also use LR for over 98% of my image editing needs, only going over to other tools such as Photoshop for specialized work such as erasing tourists and telephone wires or making composite images. Or, maybe you just need some help. Perhaps over the years you've wound up with several catalogs each containing different or the same images in different states? Maybe you are fed up with the way your images are organized (or not organized) on your hard drive. Perhaps, all of a sudden all your images seem to be missing. Or, really anything in LR that is causing you problems, doesn't look right. or you just plain need help with. We can work out whatever it is that is giving you grief or that you want to figure out. My rate is a flat $80 per hour of instruction. Through the Internet I can only connect to one remote computer at a time, but you can have as many people gathered around that computer as you wish at no extra charge. Lessons can be arranged in sessions of 1 to 3 hours duration each (2 hr minimum for first lesson). If, after the first hour you are not 100% satisfied we can stop there and there will be no charge

Dan is truly an amazing teacher. He knows Lightroom inside out, and is so thorough in his instruction! He is a very clear communicator, and knows how to translate the intricacies of the program to students. Dan is generous with his teaching, going above and beyond what a typical teacher would do (I would know, as I'm a professor!). He gives you detailed guides so that if you forgot to take notes, you've got reference material. When I've had follow up questions, he's responded thoroughly and thoughtfully. It is clear that Dan really cares about photography and his students. As others have said, great professional. And great educator. I highly recommend!!
